1/144 Real Grade "RG" RX78-2

Bandai really came up with a lot of new stuff in celebrating of its Gunpla 30th anniversary. In a "Gunpla 30th anniversary" press conference yesterday, bandai proudly revealed the brand new series of gundam, namely Real Grade "RG" with a 1/144 scale. It was none other then the 1st generation of gundam, the RX78-2 to be release in this so-called 1/144 "simplified MG".

A total of 4 billion sales was recorded in 2010 of gundam starting from the 1st released for gundam in 1980

High Grade (HG) 1/144, Master Grade (MG) 1/100 & Perfect Grade (PG) 1/60

Some extra meaning in explaining the new series of gundam

Check out the parts comparison of the new RG with MG. Seems like there is a brand new mechanism called "MS joint" use on this RG

Perhaps more of the new produce texture on the parts

If the finishing product looks exactly like this right after purely assembled, then is totally can't be a left out of any gundam fans

MG Clear Part Campaign Vol 2 Roll Out

Seems like Bandai is having good business with this clear part campaign. I haven't got myself any of the vol 1 release last month and now Bandai announced the vol 2 features with 16 of them to be release in Feb and Mac^^; This is including the MG Astray Red Frame Kai.
